  • Obtain a copy of Confirmation of Designation from the employer.

How to Get a Settlement Plan

How to Settle in Canada Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program

The settlement plan is incredibly resourceful, with excellent support and contacts to make you feel welcome in a new community at no additional cost. It is required to support you and your family to adjust to a new home in the Canada Atlantic province. To obtain a settlement plan, reach out to your employer and ask for help to find one.

When you obtain a settlement plan, the province will have to endorse your job offer. Usually, your employer will handle this process. Your permanent residence is not confirmed until the job offer you have with the employer is endorsed. If the province approves your job offer, you will get a Certificate of Endorsement in the mail, which you need to include in your permanent residence application.

How to Apply for Permanent Residence

Through the Canada Atlantic Immigration Pilot program, you have the option to apply for a permanent residency. The application comes with an instruction guide and forms that you will have to fill out, including these documents:
